Dear Mr Whale,

I started reading The Stone Boat by Andrew Solomon today. I know I am going to love the book, after the first paragraph.

What a title.

I made a self-portrait inspired by it....

Painting to me is a bit like trying to navigate through my sea of emotions on a stone boat, hoping to end up somewhere....

With the leftover paints, I made this sign for your door. 

Hope it wards off unwanted intruders.

Don't let anyone or anything disturb you, Mr Whale.
