Dave lives down the road. He has the most amazing garden. 

Dave is also a veteran. He has set up a little museum in his house showcasing war memorabilia. 

I once saw him outside the local grocery store during Legacy Week raising funds for the widows and children whose loved ones have served our country. 

I took a photo of him that day and that photo inspired this portrait of Dave.

I can't wait to show Dave his portrait! (UPDATE: Dave loves it:--))

 the Arnott family is full of eccentric cookies and some nut cases. But I do love them all. 

Len Len and Lou Lou

I met Len again today! And I finally met his pug, Lou Lou! How lovely!!!

I made a painting of Len and his pug (I did not know her name then) some weeks ago and forgot to post it here. Now that I have seen Lou Lou close up, I think I can draw her better!

we love winter!

for ages 3 and up

 I painted with some children poster paints today. (I bought them in 2018. tried them once and then left them in the garage)

they have a consistency like gravy that has turned sticky...

 It wasn't easy to paint with them. And then I realised I had to paint like I was a little child. It was fun making a mess.
